Page Slow Street Happy Hour

NW Corner of Page & Cole in Haight Ashbury
Friday September 29, 4:30-6:30pm

Join us for a family friendly Happy Hour. We’ll provide the beverages, street games (cornhole, connect 4, sidewalk chalk, bubbles) music and friendly neighborhood vibes!

Why this happy hour? We’re trying to garner support for the local installation of a bikeshare station; there is a crucial gap in the current network that this station would help fill. The installation of this specific station has been tried in 2 other locations ( Haight & Belevedere & on PSS @ Cole) and hasn’t been approved (we’ll tell you why in person). The third proposed location, in the former Godwill Loading zone, is the next desired location -Goodwill and neighbors directly adjacent are supportive! We’d love to add your voice of support.

Whether you’re en route to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, to the Great Highway Park, Critical Mass or especially if you’re on a Bikeshare bike - we’d love to see you roll through!

Any questions, email us!

Slow Street Sign Installation

Page at Stanyan St
Sunday, December 19, 2021, 1:30pm

Thanks to local landscape architect Alec Hawley and his daughters Talulah and Tomasina, we have a new sign! Please join us at the installation and bring decorations to adorn the sign and frame — reflectors, lights, shiny stuff, homemade art — anything to make the sign shine and welcome people to Page Slow Street.
